Halloween is around the corner…. and so is Christmas!

As we near the end of another month we are that little bit closer to Christmas (we know it sounds crazy!). But first we have Halloween to look forward too, our pumpkins are thriving with lots of munchkin being sold, Halloween (small, medium and large) as well as wonderful varieties of Mixed Squashes and Toffee/Chocolate Apples.

Looking forward to festive menu’s beginning…. we have just seen the very first of the Kalettes and Blood Oranges on the market. Brussel Sprouts, Stalks and Tops now flowing nicely ready for festive menu’s to kick in from November. Cranberries and chestnuts have also started and we will be launching our ‘Festive Seasonal Box’ on our website for home deliveries in the next couple of weeks.

With temperatures really dropping off it’s time to embrace the root veggies. Piccolo Parsnips and Chantenay Carrots are also a great addition and ideal as minimal prep time! Keep your eyes peeled for our November Market Report coming out next week which will have further information on what’s in season and what to avoid.
