English Produce is thriving this month!

Just when we thought July was good for British Produce, August looks like it’s going to go and top it. We have an abundance of UK grown produce on offer this month and we cannot wait to make the most of it. English Berries from Hugh Lowe are a staple and Strawberries, Blackberries & Raspberries will be flowing nicely until late September. English Gooseberries are also delicious and English Cherries but be warned the season is over quick!

On the Veggies front we have finally moved on from issues of the past with Cauliflowers now that English supply is underway, the heads are lovely size and superb quality. English Marrows are also a fantastic choice this month! Keep your eyes peeled as English Bobby Beans & Fine Beans will start towards the end of August and maybe even Summer Squashes such as Patty Pan.

English Black Cabbage is also thriving at the moment as well as English Kale. We should also see sightings of Verigated & Red Kale Varieties this month which adds a pop of vibrant colour to your dishes.
