Mission to Minimise Food Waste!

We believe in doing everything possible to minimise the amount of food waste in the business. This week we decided to pay a visit to Epsom and Ewell food bank to donate some of the produce we are unable to sell and would otherwise be thrown in the bin. This will most certainly be something we focus on doing more regularly.

They provide help to thousands of vulnerable people who are in need and less fortunate during the current cost of living crisis. From snacks, to household essentials and fresh fruit and vegetables they have a whole variety of goods donated by the local community, and we are glad to be a part of this. It’s not everyday you get a Star Fruit or Round Aubergine delivered to your house and we even donated some White Asparagus this week which is a little more exciting too!

If you would like further information or would like to get involved and help please visit their website Epsom and Ewell Foodbank | Helping Local People in Crisis
